Type A Steward Telephones for the CARE2 EVC system provide two-way, full duplex, voice communication
Steward Telephones form part of an Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) system designed for venues such as Sporting Stadiums and Stadia where public safety is paramount.
The CARE2 Steward Telephone is one type of outstation available in the range, providing two-way, full-duplex voice communication. A full-duplex system enables both parties to communicate with each other simultaneously.
CARE2 is an Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) system allowing Disabled Refuge, Fire Telephones, Steward Telephones and Disabled Toilet Alarms all to be connected to one master control panel.
CARE2 has been designed and built by Baldwin Boxall in the UK to meet BS5839-9:2021. It also meets BS8300:2009 for Disabled Toilet Alarm.
Additional Features:

• Robust handset in heavy duty enclosure
• Handset has a hearing aid compatible earpiece (T-coil)
• Full duplex speech
• Push or slot lock door versions available (door latch initiates call)
• Conference facility – including roaming telephone handsets
• Surface mountable (optional flush mount bezel available)
• Can be included with any CARE2 outstation on the same panel
Other outstations available include Fire Telephones, Disabled Refuge Outstations and Emergency Assistance/Toilet Alarms.
